How I price translations
The price per page is provided after receiving your file for a quote. I am not VAT-registered, so quoted prices are final.
Written translations
The price depends on whether the translation is certified or non-certified, the number of pages, turnaround time, the difficulty of the text and the document format (for example, handwriting or extensive graphics).
- Non-certified translation — a standard page is 1600 characters including spaces
- Certified translation — a standard page is 1125 characters including spaces
- A partial page is charged as a full page; each document is billed separately
- Standard service — after 3 working days from ordering, or 6 pages per day
- Express service — on the day of the order, or 6–10 pages per day
Additional charges
- Express service: +50%–100%
- Specialist text: +25%–50%
- Handwritten text or extensive graphics: +25%–50%
- An additional copy of a translation: 50%
An accurate quote
An accurate quote is only possible after sending your document as a scan, PDF or Word file to roena@poczta.onet.pl. Without a file, I can only provide an approximate cost.
Interpreting
Working time is counted from the agreed start time until interpreting is completed, including breaks and travel to another town. Each started hour is charged as a full hour. For assignments requiring travel, the client provides transport, insurance, accommodation and meals.
Payment
- An invoice or receipt is available on request.
- Private clients: cash on collection or bank transfer before collecting the translation.
- Businesses: payment against an invoice.
